By Bridgett Hart Posted on September, at 13, This building, Palacio Borolo, was designed to reflect the 3 leves of the after life – hell, purgatory and heaven – as illustrated in Dante's Divine Comedy. The first 7 floors represent the 7 layers of Hell. Where the ceiling stops is the 14th floor, Purgatory. To get any higher than that floor, you have to take the stairs. Elevators don't go to "Heaven"….it's a test.
