    Thought of the Day - Letting go can be very hard - especially when you're holding on to something real tight. They say, if it's really meant for you, it will come right back to you anyway, so there's not much risk. Open your hands, and let it go.... Now, notice that your hands are freed up to receive something (or someone) new. Trust and believe that what will come next will be better than whatever you were holding onto so tightly. Oh, and fight the urge (which will strike) to reach out to grab that which you just released and take it back. Remember - you also have to release the habits associated with that which you released.     This year's Power to the Peaceful festival took place at Speedway Meadows in Golden Gate Park and was headlined by Michael Franti + Spearhead, Alanis Morissette and Sly & Robbie. It is a highly anticipated festival where over 50,000 peace lovers, activists, yogis, families, movers and shakers gather yearly with the intention of sending positive vibrations around the world.

    Part of the reason I live here in the city is to have the opportunity to see new artists performing before everyone else knows about them yet. I had the privilege of seeing some great Canadian singers perform last night at Hotel Cafe, including this chick, Chantal Reviazuk You should check her out! Excellent voice. Very HH sound! Lol....
